This experimental animated film was created to experiment with some new technologies, including access to Microsoft Kinect-based 3D head scanning. I digitized a couple dozen friends and used blobby particle effects to blow them up. This was submitted to the Freeky Creek Halloween film festival in 2013.
The term “gnomon” refers to the sundial in the center of the room that seemed to be choosing which bust to explode.
